One thing I have learned on this journey is that your mind is a very powerful thing. No matter what you do in life, it doesn’t matter if you started your journey yesterday or 5 years ago, no matter what your goals, you will hit highs and lows. There will be days when you wake up, kick ass and cross everything off of your to do lists like a boss. Then there will be days you have to drag yourself out of bed in the morning and when every possible negative thought and doubt will try to creep in and make you think your goal is too big.
In a world where doing something different is sometimes frowned upon, it can be easy to feel defeated and discouraged. This is why it is necessary to fuel your mind and soul with positive vibes, meditation, positive readings, and affirmations. Some people hear this and think, “I am not doing that, that is for people that have something wrong with them, or that are just looking for self pity.”
This couldn’t be farther from the truth! By fueling your mind you build an unbreakable confidence, courage, and grow into the amazing person you know you are meant to be. I don’t always have a lot of time to read, but I will listen to podcasts and audiobooks daily, while in the car, getting ready for the day, or cleaning. Taking a little bit of time each day to fuel your soul goes a long way. There are books, podcasts, and audiobooks out there on any and every topic you can think of, areas that you struggle with, or would like to become better at.
